Licensing Help for Dentists, Hygienists and DSOs

Whether you are moving, joining a DSO, or opening an office across a state line, we prepare every license and permit you need: a license by credentials or a full application, sedation and specialty permits, hygienist licenses, and every renewal after that. You complete, sign and submit; we do the rest.

We handle the paperwork, the verifications and the board follow-up so you can keep seeing clients.

Our White-Glove Licensing Process

1. Eligibility Screening, Before You Pay Anything

We map where you hold licenses today and where you want to practice. Then we sort every state into a route: a license by credentials or a full application, with the permits you need. We check what stalls dental files before you pay a non-refundable fee: clinical exam acceptance, years of practice, jurisprudence, sedation permits and hygienist anesthesia permits.

2. Applications, Verifications and Follow-Up

We prepare every supporting document and a question-by-question guide for each state, and request verifications from every state you have held a license in, exam scores, an NPDB report and fingerprints. Dental applications are sworn, so you complete, sign, pay the board and submit; we track it and help you answer board questions until a decision.

3. Renewals and CE

Every license and permit renews on its own date with its own CE rules. We keep one calendar for all of them, track CE against each state's rules, and have each renewal ready before the deadline.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who do you serve?

Dentists, dental hygienists and dental assistants licensing in a new state or for the first time, and the DSOs, group practices and staffing firms that employ them. Payer and network credentialing is handled by our sister team at whiteglovecredentialing.com.

Can I use the dental compact yet?

No. Thirteen states have enacted the Dentist and Dental Hygienist Compact, but no state issues privileges and no launch date is set. Where it stands.

Which states license dentists by credentials?

Most do, usually after three to five years of recent practice. Florida does not, Delaware requires its own practical exam, and New York requires a PGY-1 residency for initial licensure. Our state guides cover each one.

Do you submit my application for me?

No. Dental applications are sworn statements, so you complete, sign and submit your own. We prepare every supporting document and a guide to each question, request your verifications and fingerprints, and track it to a decision.

Does my sedation permit carry over?

No. Sedation and anesthesia permits are issued separately in every state, often with an office inspection, and the dental compact would not change that. We prepare the permit alongside your license.

Do you handle insurance credentialing?

No. A license and payer credentialing are separate processes. Our sister team at whiteglovecredentialing.com credentials dentists with dental plans once the license is issued.

Do you work with DSOs?

Yes. DSOs opening in a new state need a license for every dentist, sedation permits for sedation providers, hygienist licenses and often assistant registrations. We prepare all of it and keep one renewal calendar for the team.

Do you only handle one state, or every state I hold?

Either. Most dentists come to us for one state and stay for renewals, because every license and permit has its own renewal date and CE rules, and one calendar for all of them is easier than several.

Who We Are

White Glove DDS takes the paperwork out of licensing for dentists, hygienists and DSOs. We prepare it end to end: verifications from every state you have held a license in, exam evidence, an NPDB report, fingerprints, and sedation and specialty permits. You complete, sign and submit; we track it to a decision.

The dental compact has been enacted in thirteen states but issues no privileges, and most states still license by credentials on their own terms. So we check your exams and practice history against each state and tell you the route before you pay a board fee.

From intake to issued license, we carry the board correspondence and keep every renewal, continuing education deadline and privilege on one calendar, so nothing lapses underneath your caseload.

Built for clinicians who value speed

Why We Built This

Licensing delays have real costs — a start date missed, a caseload that cannot open, a payer contract that stalls behind a credential.

0

states issuing dental compact privileges

Thirteen states have enacted the Dentist and Dental Hygienist Compact, but no state issues privileges and no launch date is set. Every state you practice in needs its own license.

$2,945

Texas board fee for a license by credentials (2024 fee rule)

Dental board fees are high and non-refundable, so a file that is incomplete or in the wrong route costs real money. We check the route before you pay.

26.5%

of early-career dentists affiliated with a DSO

DSO growth moves dentists across state lines, and every new state means a license, often a sedation permit, and hygienist and assistant credentials.

"Licensing in a new state looks simple from the outside: send the license, start seeing patients. In practice it is a chain of dependencies: verifications from every state you have held a license in, clinical exam evidence, an NPDB report, fingerprints, a jurisprudence exam, a sedation inspection. Any one of them can delay an office opening. We built White Glove DDS to hold that whole chain so clinicians do not have to."
